Twas the week before PQs, and all ‘cross the world
Not a player was resting, their minds all awhirl
The decks were all sleeved, tucked away in the case
In hopes that some prize support shows up to chase
The numpties were restless and testing online
Insisting their Lando decks “should work out fine”
And Tyler in his ‘kerchief, and I, with no drip
Still undecided what decks we would rep
It’s the week of Planetary Qualifiers, y’all!
The GarbageRollers team has been furiously testing since the beginning of the set, and we’re closing in on the decks we want to bring (well…some of us are, anyway). We’ll be at the Dallas PQ at Common Ground Games, and we encourage you to come hang out and catch some games with us even if you don’t have a slot!
But we’re not the only ones heading into this exciting season. There are PQs happening all across the country, and players of all skill levels and backgrounds are preparing to gather together and play some Star Wars. How cool is that?
Yes, things are a little rough on the OP side. Yes, product shortages have been a bummer. And yes, like everyone else, we’re beyond ready for the incredible-looking Twilight of the Republic to drop in November. But none of that takes away from how cool it’s gonna be to be part of the global SWU community as we head into our first Planetary qualifiers.
We can’t wait to share more with you next week. Wish us luck!
As we spring into Swiss, hoping all goes to plan
Heart of the cards, playing best as we can
From the Rollers to you, each and every one
“May the force be with all, good luck and have fun!”
