Meta Snapshot Updates

We’re not making any change to our meta snapshot this week. While we don’t have results available from all of the week’s PQs, none of the known winners were outside the current meta.

Boba/Red has been on a tear (winning two PQs this week), which feels like deja vu for me since it was one of the most successful decks we put on the table during original Set 1 testing nearly a year ago. Everyone is collectively holding their breath for a balance change by FFG to lessen Boba’s dominance.

Also putting up wins this week was Rey/Red, which also won two PQs. About a month ago, my prior was that Han2/Blue was the more tuned version of this deck, but Rey has really outshone it. Since their draw decks are much the same, Rey’s ability to pump units in the early game and stabilize quickly on her flip must be propelling her up the meta ladder.
