Meta Snapshot Updates

We’re not making any changes to our meta snapshot this week.

There was a (delayed) Season 2 PQ in Italy that was won by Cad/Tarkintown, which is already on the snapshot. Top 8 was:

1. Cad TT
2. Sabine ECL
3. Han1 Green
4. Bossk Blue
5. Chancellor Palpatine TT
6. Rey TT
7. Sabine ECL
8. Sabine ECL

There were some smaller win-a-box/case/promo tournaments in the US. A 31-person tournament in Georgia was split by Yoda/Blue and Yoda/Red. There was also a 24-person event in Wisconsin won by Quinlan/Tarkintown. A case tournament in Pittsburgh was won by Chancellor Palpatine/Blue.

Going into the heart of Twilight of the Republic season, we have several decks on the bubble for snapshot inclusion:

Possible ADD – Quinlan/Tarkintown
Possible ADD – Bossk/Green
Possible ADD – Palpatine/Yellow
Possible REMOVE – Chancellor Palp/Blue
Possible REMOVE – Sabine/Yellow

Any of the adds could come on with solid performance at a major event. If we don’t see Chancellor Palp or Sabine/Yellow come through soon, we’ll likely have to drop them.

There’s also the unsolved question of which of the many solid Quinlan decks is the best. There’s Tarkintown, 30hp Green, and ECL versions all competing against each other. I’d be surprised if the community doesn’t arrive soon at the best build. For now, we’re sticking with Green as the best pairing, since ramp generates such huge advantages in SWU, and the ping + Tarkintown approach overlaps with what Cad Bane does.
