This weekend was the first Regional Qualifier in Lille, France. The results are available in detail from SWU Competitive Hub. Sabine/Data Vault(!) took the crown, which came as a surprise for most of the competitive community. The actual list appears similar to some Han2/DV builds that had been floating around in the past couple weeks, but it took Danish ingenuity to pair that shell with Sabine and take the crown.

While most of the field was a predictable mix, there was one outlier deck- Rey/Green– that made an appearance at Lille. While we’re tempted to add this to our Snapshot, it was run by the indomitable Yehosera who is notorious for powering off-meta decks into top cuts with his play skills. So, much like GrumpyElephant with his Quinlan/Green builds, we’re going to wait until someone else can demonstrate broader utility with the deck before we add it to the snapshot.
Since we captured the primary players in the meta already with our snapshot, this week is seeing only removals.
We’re making four removals – Boba Fett/Yellow, Gar Saxon/Yellow, Cad/Green and Cad/Blue. Each of these leaders had some early success in the Jango meta but failed to show in the top cuts of either the Richmond or Lille events, suggesting that they’re not quite at the power level required to take down a championship. This is a bit of a sad moment, as it means there are no longer any Jump to Lightspeed leaders on the snapshot. Perhaps, next set, if Confiscate and Bamboozle are no longer being maindecked by the meta players, pilot leaders can make a return.
