Last week, FFG banned Force Throw, shaking up the meta prior to Sectors and Regionals. However, they did not put the ban into effect immediately, making this past weekend the last with the meta in its current state.

The question is now: What will the meta be without Force Throw? A large share of the current meta decks will take a step back, but how much of a step is up for debate. As such, we’re leaving all of the current meta’s decks on the snapshot until they prove unable to compete.

One note: the lists we have linked are going to continue to include Force Throw until we can find tuned lists that omit it. Like everyone else, our readers will have to figure out how best to reconfigure those decks!

Now, the demise of Force Throw does open the door for other decks to step in. Namely, two decks that were pushed out after being players in the set 4 meta- Han1/Green and Rey/Green- which we’re adding to the snapshot. Both of these decks have solid gameplans, but Han couldn’t withstand ubiquitous hand destruction, while both Han and Rey, as 6-health leaders, were particularly vulnerable to an own-Throw-one-shot.

We’ll keep an eye on the meta and see what decks need to be added and removed as the new game develops!
