Jyn Taking a Dive

The one change to our Tier list this week is a demotion of Jyn Erso to Tier 4. As we mentioned last week in our “What did we get wrong” article, we overrated Jyn’s potential during spoiler season. Jyn didn’t get any cards to support her at Spirit of Rebellion release, so we really are in a “Why would we ever run her?” situation. It’s hard not to look at Jyn and Boba, who have identical stats, and not wonder why one deploys on a hard 6 Resources, while the other gets Superlaser Tech to come out two rounds earlier. Poor Jyn…

TTI League Season 0.6 Top Cut Continues

This week, two Boba decks advanced to the finals of the season’s bracket. Good luck to both SIP and Poem in the finals!

OPE Star Wars: Unlimited Launch Event

This weekend, the largest tournament to date took place in the UK with 222 players! The organizers streamed multiple matches on Twitch and dropped the decklists here.

The results were, frankly, disturbing…

If it makes you feel any better, at least one of the top 8 was a Mono, Boba/Yellow. We’ll be taking a deeper dive later this week into Boba’s dominance and whether it definitively deserves the title of “best deck.”

Unlimited Comes to Southern France

Across the channel this weekend, the French hosted their own 32-person SWU tournament with Vader/Green coming out on top. The tournament seems like more confirmation that we’re in a Boba/ECL/Superlaster Tech meta. Congrats to Pure Sabacc!
