Meta Snapshot Updates

This was week five of Planetary Qualifiers and the meta feels firmly established. We’re not making any changes based on this week’s results.

Now, some of you that read us carefully might be wondering why we haven’t added Quinlan/Green back to the snapshot after it won a second PQ in Michigan this weekend. It’s about prevalence. Since the same player won again, in the same region of the world, we’re prepared to call this a local disturbance rather than a true shift in the meta. The goal of the snapshot is to give players a sense of what they’re likely to face at a tournament anywhere in the world.
