In a surprising and unprecedented response to the overperformance of Jango Fett at last week’s Milan Sector Qualifier, FFG has announced their intention to remove Boba Fett, Collecting the Bounty from the suspended list.
This announcement means that Boba can yet again be played in constructed tournaments, effective immediately. To quote the official announcement from the designers:
“Jango Fett/Tarkintown represents a new level of competitive play not yet witnessed in Star Wars: Unlimited. With its ability to easily land 13 damage on base despite having no units on board, it’s basically the SWU equivalent of Godzilla. So, like the protagonists of that storied franchise, we hereby call on our personal King Kong (Boba Fett, Collecting the Bounty) to save the world from this menace. Our hope is that the formidably over-statted Boba can land a Kong-sized punch on his not-yet-headless father and restore the meta’s deck diversity and player engagement. Also, stop asking us about Darth Revan. Further Revan inquiries will result in permanent OP bans. Gang gang.“
Huh. Well, here at Garbage Rollers, we’re as surprised as you are, but will likewise have to roll with the punches! As such, we’re updating our meta snapshot to reflect the new meta and its varied playstyles.

As always, you can check out the full Meta Snapshot here. We’ll be updating as FFG makes more changes!
